Summer 2026:
Making memories on beautiful Whidbey Island
STEM • Art • Music • Outdoor Adventures

In our fourth summer camp season, WILASC is proud to bring Whidbey Island families our most exciting lineup yet: hands-on STEM adventures, creative arts, music, outdoor exploration, and new programs you won’t find anywhere else on the island.

Imagine tinkering with a 3D printer. coding a robot to go to Mars, designing a house like an architect, learning to write stories with a famous local author,  singing harmonies to your favorite songs, movements in the woods, and making art on the beach! There are more camps to choose from than ever for each age group: kids, tweens, and teens, inspired by your child's endless curiosity and the abundance of multi-disciplinary talents on Whidbey.

As always, scholarships and military discounts are available. We also partner with Whidbey Island Nourishes to offer free lunch for those in need.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer full-day camps?

Our camps are all half-day with options to extend to full-day. Please read further explanation about this arrangement in the HALF-DAY OR FULL DAY page!

Do you accept neurodivergent students to join your camps?

Yes. We strive to create an inclusive classroom environment so that all students can enjoy our camps together. We offer training to teachers so that they are well prepared to work with neurodivergent students. Parents are encouraged to let us know beforehand about their children's special needs - that would greatly help us to arrange the best accommodation for them!

Do you offer lunch for full-day camps?

No, each student needs to bring their own lunch. However, our partner Whidbey Island Nourishes provides free lunches for those who need this coverage. Read more about WIN's FREE LUNCH program.

My child has been excited to go daily, and has some much to show me and tell me afterward.

Camp: Clay Adventures

[My son loves] the fun and accessibility of the activity. It was simple enough to provide quick gratification that would drive further interest for kiddos. The pile of LEGOs made it so my other kiddo could be engaged without direct participation in the activity.

Jeremy, Parent

Camp: LEGO Robotics

My son was excited to go and excited when I picked him up. Needless to say, he had a great time!
