FAQ

Do you offer full-day camps?

Yes, some of our camps are full day (9:00am - 3:00pm). We also have some half-day camps that can be linked to become full-day, with a supervised lunch break.

What age groups does the camp cater to?

We offer programs for a variety of age groups, typically ranging from 4-14 years old. Be sure to check out our specific program offerings for age details.

What is the camper-to-staff ratio?

We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio of [9:1] to ensure individualized attention and safety for all campers.

Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?

We strongly believe that everyone should be able to access educational opportunities, and will offer scholarships whenever our financial condition permits. We offer up to 100% scholarships for students attending our programs. Please refer to our SCHOLARSHIP page for more details.

Sometimes scholarship opportunities are available outside WILASC - such as the DINO scholarships by Brothers, Big Sisters, or the Health Island Youth Initiative. You are welcome to apply for these scholarships for WILASC's programs.

Do you offer a military discount?

Yes, a 10% military discount is applied for families of active duty, reserve, retired, and veteran members of the military.  Please enter code MILITARY when you check out a camp, and send us a copy of your military ID to hello@wilasc.com.

What should my child bring to camp each day?

Water bottle, snack, a healthy lunch (if your camp is all day), and comfortable clothing for indoor and outdoor activities.

What are your policies on allergies and medical conditions?

We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all campers. Please inform us of any allergies or medical conditions your child has during registration.

Do you accept students with special needs?

Yes. We strive to create an inclusive classroom environment so that all students can enjoy our camps. In the case that a child’s special needs turn out to demand more than we can provide or handle, we will inform the parents/caregivers and issue refunds accordingly.

We also have some camps that are designed especially with neurodivergent children in mind. Look out for camps labeled "Limitless Learning" to identify these camps.

We really like this camp but it’s offered on a date that does not work for us. What can we do?

Please enter yourself into the waitlist for that camp, or else email to let us know! Our camps are created to respond to demand so if we have enough interested campers, most likely we can organize a new camp to meet your needs.

Please don't hesitate to contact us at assistant.wilasc@gmail.com  if you have any further questions. We look forward to a summer of exploration and discovery at WILASC’s summer camps
