(COUPEVILLE - SPANISH) - Spanish Adventures for Kids: Interactive Mixed-level Class (Age 7-12)

TIME:  Every Thursday from 3:40 to 4:40 pm, from Oct 12 to Dec 14, 2023 (no class on October 26 and Nov 23 (Thanksgiving)

In this mixed-level Spanish class designed for 7-12 years old, students will acquire language skills through storytelling and songs, hands-on projects, immersive experiences, and the celebration of seasonal themes and rhythms.  Lessons are topic-based and our instructor, a Peruvian native and experienced Spanish teacher, will focus on improving students' speaking and listening skills, as well as expanding their vocabulary and enhancing pronunciation.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR - Carolyn (Eyleen) Uculmana 

Carolyn is a native Peruvian from Lima, now living in South Whidbey.  Carolyn has a long work history in the education sector - she worked for the Edmonds School District, South Whidbey School District, and is now an accountant for the Coupeville School District. She is also an experienced leader for children's extracurricular programs, having run a Girl Scout troop in. South Whidbey for four years. Carolyn was the main instructor for the Spanish Club of the Northwest Language and Cultural Center in 2021-22, and also ran her own Spanish summer camp prior to joining the Coupeville School District.
