Chinese & English bilingual camp - Exploring Chinese Culture (Age 6-12) - August 7 - 10
The Chinese cultural camp is back on Whidbey Island! In this four-day, full day language & culture discovery camp, teacher Lina Shen will guide students through many activities to explore Chinese culture. Camp will be conducted mostly in English with some Chinese.

About the event
The Chinese cultural camp is back on Whidbey Island! In this four-day, full day language & culture discovery camp, teacher Lina Shen will guide studenst through many activities to explore Chinese culture.
Lina is the founder and head instructor of the Anacortes Chinese School. She is a native Chinese speaker from Kunming, China, and used to lead language and cultural camps for the Northwest Language and Cultural Center. (Read Lina's full bio in our ABOUT US section)
Sample activities during four days:
Period 1 calligraphy
Period 2 crafts (paper cutting for one day, other crafts the other days)
Period 3 Chinese cuisine - culture, origins, and hands-on preparation
