From July 31 to August 3, 2023, WILASC held its first Spanish summer camp: Vacaciones en Mexico with Miss Claudia Samano! The students took a vicarious tour to visit the country of Mexico, studying the country from many angles: weather, history, geography, people... with a variety of activities to keep them on their feet: from reading books to movements to art & craft, collage making, documentary watching, games and much more.
As the creator of the BILMP (Bilingual Integrated Language & Mindfulness Program), Claudia is an expert at combining language learning with movement, mindfulness and social-emotional learning activities. As we promised, never an idle boring moment with Miss Claudia :)
