We strongly believe in supporting everyone to access educational opportunities and will consider offering financial aid to those in need.

We are registered as a business and cannot accept tax-deductible donations. However, we hope to raise funds through creative activities that both serve the community and support the beneficiaries.

WORK WITH US

WILASC aims to be an exceptional education provider for Whidbey Island, a connecting point between local experts and talents and student looking to explore their interests and develop skills. We are constantly looking for teachers and academic advisors to join our team.

​

1. Academic Advisors (Volunteer position, with free courses offered to you and your children)

 

We are looking for professionals and education experts who can provide advisory and support in program development and assessment – to ensure our children receive the best education they can!

​

We are looking for people who are: 

 

• Teachers and education experts experienced in foreign languages teaching & global cultural program management

• STEM teachers and professionals with related working experience in science, technology, engineering, and maths. 

• Artists and art teachers with experience in curriculum development 

 

      2. Instructors (contract-based, paid positions)

 

• Teachers in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math): coding, chess, math, space science,.
   

• Foreign language teachers: Spanish, French, Chinese Mandarin. Native speakers preferred but not a must. Passionate about broadening children’s perspectives through language & culture.

 

• Artists and art teachers with experience and/or passion to work with children. Prior teaching experience preferred.  Master in at least one medium (e.g., painting, illustration, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, etc).
