Join us this summer for our STEM camp: Super Concoctions! Designed for young scientists and creators aged 6-10, this camp is all about exploring the fascinating concoctions that fizz, bubble, stretch, bounce, and even fly!

Camp Overview: In this hands-on and engaging camp, participants will unleash their inner scientists and experiment with a variety of exciting concoctions. From crafting colorful bubbling potions to creating stretchy slimes, DIY bouncy balls, and ninja stars, every day will be filled with new discoveries and exciting challenges.

What kids will learn:

  • Bubble Bonanza: Dive into the science of bubbles! Learn how to create different types of bubbles and explore the secrets behind their shapes and colors.
  • Slime Time: Get messy and creative with our  slime-making sessions! Discover the science behind the stretchiest, squishiest slimes and experiment with colors and textures.
  • Bouncy Balls: Engineer your own bouncy balls and explore the physics of elasticity. Learn how different ingredients affect the bounce and durability of your creations.
  • Ninja Stars: Unleash your inner ninja by crafting and testing ninja stars! Learn about aerodynamics and how different designs affect flight paths and accuracy.
  • Mystery Concoctions: Unveil the mysteries of surprise concoctions each day! From foamy eruptions to magical potions, every concoction is a new adventure waiting to be explored.

This camp isn’t just about making cool stuff—it’s about understanding the science behind it. Our instructor will guide campers through each experiment, fostering a love for STEM through hands-on activities that spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking.

This camp can be combined with the Colossal Questions camp in the afternoon for a full-day camp. If you are having another camp at the Community Center, you can add a LUNCH BREAK  ($10/day) and we can take your children from 12:00 PM onward. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE LUNCH ITSELF - children must bring their own lunch.  If you need assistance with lunch, please contact us.
