Join us in this merry occasion to celebrate Lunar New Year on Whidbey Island! Activities include Dragon dance, dumpling making, calligraphy, Lunar New Year crafts, Traditional Games , storytelling, lucky draw and more. This is a FREE, family-friendly event - everyone is welcome! 🧧

About the event
Lunar New Year falls on February 17 this year - this will be the Year of the Horse. To celebrate this merry occasion, WILASC is hosting a Lunar New Year celebration for Whidbey Island community on February 7, 2026.
We invite families of Asian descent on the island to come together and celebrate this traditional holiday. We also invite all families in the community who are interested in learning about this cultural festival, to come and share the joy with us!
