Embark on a Coding Journey: Afterschool Python Programming for Kids (Ages 11-14)

Is your child fascinated by technology and eager to create? Nurture their potential with our inspiring afterschool Python programming class designed to spark creativity and logical thinking!

Through weekly challenges, teacher Justin will guide students to:

  • Master Python Basics: Delving into Python, students will learn everything from basic syntax to complex data structures, control flow, and functions, establishing a strong foundation in a language that powers technology worldwide.
  • Tackle Engaging Projects: Aspiring coders will build interactive mini-games and craft animated stories, applying their new skills in exciting ways. Our project-based approach encourages students to bring their unique visions to life.
  • Develop Essential Skills: The course is tailored to foster problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. Students will enhance their creativity as they translate abstract concepts into real-world coding applications.
  • Boost Confidence and Enjoy the Learning Process: With each coding challenge conquered, students will gain a sense of accomplishment. Our supportive environment helps foster self-esteem and the belief in one’s growing capabilities.

No previous coding experience is necessary. We are committed to guiding students through their coding journey, offering personalized encouragement and support.

By the conclusion of this class, your child will:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of Python programming fundamentals.
  • Have a collection of completed projects that showcase their coding skills.
  • Begin to approach problems like a programmer, using logic and creativity.
  • Be enthusiastic about advancing further in the coding universe.

Note: We aim to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to Python. Individual progress will depend on engagement and the pace of learning, but we're dedicated to making this first step both substantial and enjoyable.
